The Paris Session is the foremost global thought leadership event for the power system, held every even numbered year. It is an in-depth interactive congress, attracting members of the international CIGRE community of professionals and world experts.

As the culmination of the previous two years of CIGRE knowledge development, 800+ papers are critically explored and collaboratively debated by delegates. They address topical issues, challenges, trends, technologies, and innovations in the industry.

This collective expertise is harnessed to develop new ideas and published as proceedings. It is also used to frame the next two years of the knowledge development programme.

Registered delegates can access proceedings here on e-cigre.org just after the Session, in the form of written and video content, along with the original papers.

Session materials are free to all CIGRE members three months after the Session, and can be found here on eCIGRE.org.
