Summary
An Integrated Management Information system is a common platform that permits the different information processing, storage and exchange systems and other infrastructure components in the Power Utility to interact, in order to perform different tasks such as asset management, maintenance, condition and performance monitoring, and planning. It overcomes the problem of multiplicity of management systems in a multi-vendor, multi-technology environment.
