Summary

Quality assurance plans for newly manufactured turbogenerators are essential in order to minimize variances in processes affecting the quality of final products, therefore to mitigate failure probability rates. Quality assurance plans ensure also a minimum quality level accepted by the manufacturer and/or final user. The Technical Brochure (TB) summarises some of the results and conclusions obtained from surveys on quality control tests performed during stator bar manufacturing.
