AbstractsThe guide specifically addresses the magnitude of transferred Earth Potential Rise EPR to telecommunication systems due to faults in a.c. power systems and how to mitigate these effects. Examples of the EPR transfer mechanisms are described and suitable protection systems are discussed and a description of the factors that have to be considered for test and measurement. A list of published standards and recommendations is included.
