Summary

Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) is increasingly used as a diagnosis tool in load tap changers and non-mineral oils. This Report describes the adjustments that should be made to DGA interpretation methods for such applications. It also contains recent investigations of CIGRE concerning DGA in transformers, oil sampling and carbon oxide formation.
