Summary

The test of magnetic-field susceptibility and conducted susceptibility are key parts for type tests of intelligent high voltage electrical apparatus. Building the electromagnetic shielding enclosures according to related regulations is the foundations for carrying out the tests. Now there are no such regulations in power industry. Based on the smart-grid standards of State Grid Corporation in China, the standards of electromagnetic compatibility issued by IEC, and regulations of china national accreditation service for conformity assessment (CNAS), the paper discusses the electromagnetic ambient level of these shielding enclosures. The contents discussed in this paper are following: insert loss on power lines and shielding efficiency of space radiation. The amplitude and frequency need to suppressed are analyzing and summarizing, and then, the suggestions of controlling method are also provided. The researching conclusions may be helpful to those who plan to layout, design and check such a shielding enclosure. And the completion of shielding enclosures may be easily to be accredited by CNAS, furthermore, can also be accredited by the countries and regions who have signed international laboratory accreditation conference (ILAC). As a result, the repeated test can be reduced largely and a lot of test cost can be saved.
