Summary

The development of Demand Response solutions, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable power systems, depends on local drivers and enablers. This study focuses on the regulatory enablers that should be implemented to unleash the Demand Response potential. Lessons learned and good practices are identified based on an international survey about the economic frameworks, support schemes and remaining regulatory barriers to Demand Response development.
