Summary

Transmission Line towers are fabricated and erected based on the workshop drawings assuming a certain level of imperfections (tolerances). As comprehensive standards do not exist for such tolerances, a questionnaire was issued about the international industry practices. The purpose of the TB reported is to quantify the effect of some of those tolerances on tower member forces verifying their relevance.
