Summary
IEC 651850 standard has already changed many things, from equipment to SAS architecture, and now engineering must change in accordance. The engineering tools are still one step behind the rest of the IEC 61850 world. In this document the engineering approach has been analyzed pointing out possible gaps and suggesting ideas for the engineering tools to be developed.
