Then follow the process:

  1. Enter your email address;
  2. Fill in the short form with your details;
  3. If you are a CIGRE Member, select “Yes” for “Are you a CIGRE member ?” and enter your new membership number;
  4. Then follow the prompts;
  5. The login you create will work for both ELECTRA and eCIGRE.

  • Reference Papers are designed to make CIGRE technical work more accessible, covering not just hard science but also opinions and views

Content themes

This filter allows users to explore content grouped by CIGRE’s 16 domains of technical work that cover the end-to-end power system. Content on this site is often grouped by these themes. Each domain has its own expert global Study Committee, dedicated programme of work and a letter/number designation.

Hot topics

As part of its work on energy transition, CIGRE allows you to filter content grouped by eight hot topics relevant to this key area.

Publication year

You can use this filter to get the latest content based on a date range of your choice or a specific year.

Additional media

Use this filter to view video only content.

Working Groups

Each of CIGRE’s 16 Study Committees operate Working Groups. The role of these groups is to produce a Technical Brochure. The number designiations in this list each represent one of these groups.

This option is offered for members with high knowledge of CIGRE’s programme of work who are seeking very specific information. All content produced by these groups is available to users though other search filters.

eCIGRE is a highly active website with new content added all the time. There is up to 40 new Technical Brochures added every year and hundreds of technical papers from various events including the Paris Session and Symposiums every year.

In phase 2 in 2024, if you are a member when you sign into eCIGRE, you are also automatically signed into ELECTRA our digital magazine, and vice versa.
